Baked Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

I bought my donut pan a few years ago during on particularly expensive Sur La Table trip. As I scanned the baking aisle for ingredients and tools that I absolutely needed, I came across this donut pan. I couldn't believe it, how did I not already own one?! I took my overpriced vanilla , sprinkles and new donut pan to the counter and hurried home to look up donut recipes. I found this baked donut recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction and it seemed like the perfect recipe to start with. These donuts taste are a total comfort treat, and every time I eat them I want to have them with a cup of tea and a good book (or Netflix, but whatever).
