Copycat Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've never actually had a Levain Bakery cookie in NYC, but I've seen enough pictures of them to count myself as a fan. As part of my chocolate chip cookie recipe test (just doing god's work!) I knew I wanted to make a copycat of their chocolate chip cookie. I chose Broma Bakery's recipe and was not dissapointed. These cookies are MASSIVE and chocolatey. Somehow they are crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. How does that work? I don't want to think about it too hard because at this point I'm chalking it up to magic. Yes, these cookies are magic.
