Dulce de leche means “candy made from milk” in Spanish, so basically health food. I bought a jar of it at Cost Plus World Market a few weeks back, and realized that I had a bit of it left in the fridge that I needed (yep, needed) to use up. I love these blondies from Smitten Kitchen, so I decided to swirl some dulce de leche on top of them before baking. When they came out of the oven, I sprinkled them with Maldon sea salt, waited for them to cool and sliced em up. They are the perfect gooey, sticky dessert, that you can eat easily since they are in bar form. You can also top the blondies with Nutella, peanut butter, jams, really anything your heart desires!

Blondie recipe: Smitten Kitchen. I topped them with a heaping 1/2 cup of dulce de leche and flakey sea salt.
