Rainbow Sprinkle Bread with Birthday Crumb Topping

I have been seeing this beautiful bread on Instagram for months now, but never made it until last week. It tastes like birthday cake, includes a birthday cake crumb topping, smells unbelievable, and could not look more fun or festive. So yeah - it was a hit! I still don’t totally understand if it’s a cake or bread though. The recipe says bread but it looks and tastes like cake so I’ve been referring to it as cake. Bread or cake, it’s fantastic and I would totally recommend this recipe. One quick note - the recipe said to add half of your crumb topping. I wasn’t sure what to do with the rest of the crumb topping so I went ahead and added it to the cake. HIGHLY recommend going hard in the paint on the crumb.
