Super Moist Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream

Sometimes the timing of something feels too good to be true, which is what happened to me with these cupcakes. This recipe popped up on my Instagram feed while I was traveling and I remember thinking that I wanted to try it when I got home and had access to a kitchen again. A few days later, my friend whose wedding I was baking for a few months later messaged me to finalize the menu. She was really flexible in terms of treats she wanted, but one thing she did know she wanted was a chocolate cupcake! Too perfect right? FATE! I saved this recipe and sure enough I used it when it was time to make 48 mini cupcakes for her wedding weekend.
The recipe lived up to the hype (that I created). The cake and buttercream were both the perfect textures, and paired so nicely together. I topped them with chocolate sprinkled to keep in the all-chocolate theme which turned out to be a nice festive touch.

For mini cupcakes: Fill mini liners only halfway and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350°F
