Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ahhhh toffee. I know that sugar can be addictive, and I can confirm that when I eat these cookies. The toffee is the perfect addition to these buttery and chewy chocolate chip cookies. The recipe calls for toffee chips, but the first time I made them I couldn't find any toffee chips in Safeway (scratch that, in two Safeways and another grocery store) so I bought Heath bars and chopped them up myself. I liked the way the cookie tasted with the giant chunks of toffee so now I use heath bars every time I make these.
